This custom live-edge epoxy headboard is made from a single walnut slab in ThunderWood Studio's workshop. Ocean waves in blue resin roll across the wood, so the panel works as both a headboard and a piece of wall art:

Natural Live Edge River Headboard Design

The design follows the shoreline. Deep blue resin builds up in layers along the lower half of the slab, and each wave breaks into white foam that spreads across the walnut grain like sand under water. We select each slab by hand, keep the natural live edge along the top, and cure the resin fully, so the surface stays hard and stable for years.
